Cordata Oncology Solution Now Features Direct Link to Useful Resources for Patients and Care Coordinators
Cincinnati, OH – June 7, 2016: Cordata Healthcare Innovations today announced an enhancement to its Oncology Solution that provides direct acess to Lilly Oncology's Journey Connections™ program. Journey Connections is designed to connect people who have cancer and the people who care for them with local support resources. The program focuses on providing emotional support, enhancing the quality of care and creating better overall patient experiences.
“At Cordata, we are passionate believers that addressing the human side of treatment is essential to improving outcomes, especially for people with cancer,” said Cam McClellan Teems, National Sales Leader for Cordata Oncology. “The type of personal support offered through Journey Connections is a real difference-maker for people as they experience treatment plans that may last only a few months or several years.”
“We are delighted to work with Cordata to help more cancer patients access resources they need,” said Andi David, Associate Consultant, Lilly Oncology. “Though every cancer diagnosis is different, all people with cancer benefit from support in personal areas – from health and nutrition coaches to post-radiation skin care and massage.”
Cordata is the only care coordination platform that features such a direct link. The company’s Oncology solution also features links to resources from CancerCare and Cancer Therapy Advisor. Launched in 2015, Journey Connections was developed by Lilly Oncology in partnership with cancer care teams around the country. It is one of several patient support programs that the company offers.
