Many women in 21 states will get an ominous note with their mammogram results this year. Even if everything seems fine, they’ll be informed that they have dense breast tissue, which can raise their risk for cancer and hide abnormalities, making their mammograms less accurate.

The question is: now what?

Are you using Cordata Oncology to help you manage this care requirement? Our Procedure milestone allows users to enter density information (or pull from an interfaced discrete field) and queue patients for follow up imaging such as MRI or ultrasound. Users can also pair density information with risk assessment results for an algorithm-based protocol for patient next steps, similar to what was recommended by the California Breast Density Information Group.
