A Fresh Look at Lung Cancer Screening - Incidental Findings and Organized Screening...It Can Be Done

Kim will discuss how to strategically design (or re-design) your Lung Screening Program so that you can manage both incidental findings and those from organized screening. Her fresh program design includes: designing the revenue business case, managing patient flow for referrals, managing actual referrals and orders for LDCT (are they clean referrals that meet all the requirements or do you need to re-do them for shared decision making, etc), managing outreach, organizing downstream services such as bronchoscopy, Lung nodule clinic, connecting the screening program to the larger Cancer Center (is the screening program best housed within the Cancer Center or hospital radiology?), registry participation, quality measures, legal liability, marketing your results to your community....and so much more.
