Project Manager

This position will be responsible for handling our company’s ongoing client projects as well as internal and third-party partner projects. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of plans. To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
  • Meet with project team members to proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with all stakeholders (clients, internal team members, third parties, etc.)
  • Prepare status reports by gathering, anbalyzing and summarizing relevant information
  • Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution
  • Facilitate change requests to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
  • Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables
  • Conduct post project evaluations and document successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Coordinate development of user manuals, training materials and other documents to facilitate successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to clients
  • Manage customer satisfaction within project transition period
  • Perform risk management and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks
  • Identify and develop new opportunities with clients
  • Support sales, product management and engineering as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, business administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience, in healthcare preferred
  • Project Management Professions (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like
  • Travel required
