AdventHealth’s Shawnee Mission has selected the Cordata specialty care coordination platform to coordinate oncology care and support patients at its hospital in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. AdventHealth’s cancer and neuroscience institutes in Florida have used Cordata since 2016, and the Orthopedics institute recently signed on as well.
The team at Shawnee Mission was drawn to Cordata’s dynamic user interface and disease-specific capabilities that are built into the platform. Specifically, Cordata gives diverse care teams easier access to patient records for tracking progress against treatment plans. It also enables care coordinators to keep patients engaged, from initial intake and diagnosis through ongoing survivorship.
AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is an affiliate of the MD Anderson Cancer Network®, which has been providing leading cancer care for nearly 80 years and provides access to the latest research and leading-edge cancer treatments.
